Hunter's Sky quilt Pattern - Michelle Hiatt - Sew on the Go

Hunter’s Sky combines Hunter’s Star blocks with Nine-Patch Star blocks to create a striking secondary design filled with movement. As the blocks come together, two sets of eight-pointed stars emerge—one accented with diamonds and the other with triangles—while the Nine-Patch Stars create the beautiful circular motion throughout the quilt.

A dark background makes the colorful star points and light accents really shine. The design uses eight assorted bright fabrics, making Hunter’s Sky a great choice for fat quarters, coordinated scraps, or a favorite fabric collection. The dark background border gives the quilt a dramatic finish, but it can easily be replaced with a print or supplemented with an additional traditional border for a different look.
